Some of the Tasks that we have been preparing or working on to improve our services are some of the following.
Alberta Supernet
Connecting to the
Alberta Supernet, Which is a fiber optic network established by the Provincal government of Alberta to provide a
reliable, fast and efficent means of internet connectivity to both provincally owned facilities and publically owned facilities.
What this means to our customers, is that once KBSCable is connected to the
Alberta Supernet We will be able to leverage this efficent network to provide you with
Fast, More secure and more effiecent internect connectivity for the same price that you pay for right now.
Wireless internet access
We Are currently undergoing resarch to enhance our internet service in preperation for the connection to the Alberta Supernet.
In Order to provide internet to some of our rural communities and a diffrent method of connectivity to our current customers, we will be offering soon, hardware and installation services for
Wireless internet connectivity, which will be an outdoor mounted radio that will provide connectivity.
LOS (Line-of-Sight) is required and the bandwidth and costs are yet to be determined. stay up to date for future notifications.
